MEGA CAMP!!
i have to say
it's better than what i expected
i didn't want to go at first
wasn't too excited about it

my group was BALAM(tamil for strength)!!
pitched tents on the first day
my tent mates were rachel and jodie
our new home:)
then we went on the wakatobi trial
we did the hornet drill
say..
3 times???!!
dionne's group only did it ONCE
ARGH
but it was still pretty fun
had to cross muddy areas and everything
didn't meet with any dangers, luckily

showered
the curtains at the shower cubicles
do not even cover the entire cubicle
you walk in
and you see people's butts
had to use my towel to cover
had dinner
then we had a night scavenger hunt
made BALAM's flag and torch
our flag was super nice
was painted by althea

next day
WATER ACITIVITIES!!!!
that was the absolute BEST
made a raft first
that was hard work
raft wasn't a success though
but the process was still fun
and trying to take it out to sea was fun as well
:)))
after that
KAYAKING
I LOVE KAYAKING
ESP IN BINTAN
the sea in bintan
is really really pretty
the water near the shore
is really clear
and you really enjoy the scenery as you kayak
it was kind of tiring though
melissa said that during obs
they kayaked for 10 HOURS
OMG
i cannot imagine kayaking for 10 hours
just thinking of it makes me tired

had workshops after bathing
after that we had our night confidence trial
my partner was danya
i saw the first two instructors who were just standing there
was about to take a closer look
when they BOO!ed us
wasn't scared for that one
because i already saw them
next one was bruce i think
was just walking along
when i heard someone say 'hi'
i couldn't even see him!!
i was so shocked and i screamed along with danya
LOL
the rest weren't scary
just shocking
reached the end and shook hands with Miss Gan
then had discussion for campfire item
then sleep time

SLEEPING IN TENTS IS NOT A NICE THING
at first it's really stuffy
then it's really cold
you can really fall sick

next day
had our team building activities
we broke ALL THE RECORDS!!
:)))
had to balance on this giant see-saw thing
and we did it for over 300 secs
!!
could have stayed longer
but because we were the last grp and we broke the record
so we got off
then we did the high wall
EVERYONE got up
WOOOOO!!
got a splinter though
first time in my life
but another instructor helped me to remove it

had our trust fall after that
was super scared
even though i knew my group members would catch me
it was just SO HIGH up there
and we had to fall backwards
landed with my butt first in the end
heh:))

CAMPFIRE!!!
was super fun
all the groups performed an item
my group sang a song with some dance and did a cheer
i LOVE the cheer!!!
when the campfire was about to be put out
everyone started singing
"IT WAS SO SAAAAAD, IT WAS SO SAAAAAD
IT WAS SAD WHEN THE BIG SHIP WENT DOWN
TO THE BOTTOM, WHEN THE HUSBANDS AND WIVES
AND THE CHILDREN LOST THEIR LIVES,
IT WAS SAD WHEN THE BIG SHIP WENT DOWN"
and we kept repeating it and repeating it
LOL
then when we finally stopped
the campfire was put out
felt sad then
i really enjoyed the campfire

HOME the next day
sigh
HOME SWEET HOME

it does
and i'm not saying that because i like jay chou
i love the songs in it
SO EVERYONE
